"You're Gonna Miss This...Moment" Heading Home

Time to join Pam and share the moments we're going to miss one day...because life is so short! Sometimes it's hard to find those moments among our busy schedules, but that's what I love about participating in this...it makes me stop and think about it and appreciate them so much more! We've made some wonderful memories in the last 14 days...but we are heading home! I know when we look back at the fun pictures of swimming, sunshine, sand and family, we will wish we were back at the beach...but we are ready to head home and get back to schedules and school starting...yikes! We had beautiful sunny, hot weather every day and swam more hours than we slept! We'll really miss having no concept of time or knowing what day it is...but it's always a good feeling being in the comforts of your own home! Until next year...we'll miss...

Wordless Wednesday {Warning:Speedo Alert!}

Later Gator!

Let me start off by saying that "Dan, we really miss you...it's pretty quiet around here without the kids' belly laughs when you tickle them!" But we ate at one your favorite restaurants 'Gators' wishing you were here!

Afterwards, we headed to the Candy Kitchen for yummy ice-cream...{sorry, Annie, no big banana splits this year! Not without Dan to help me eat it!}

...and then more gators...


We played miniature golf and fed the alligators...a tradition while at Madeira Beach! The gators get a little bigger every year! The kids have a great time...and also seem to improve their putting skills every year...we all scored a hole in one! Thanks...no applause necessary!




And the highlight of the day may have been feeding the seagulls popcorn and peanutbutter crackers!

And then there were Three...

...well it's just the three of us now...Dan is home, cutting grass, taking a nap and enjoying the peace, quiet and comforts of Home Sweet Home...and cleaning out rotten food from a dead refrigerator! He opened the freezer to melted icecubes, ice-cream and popcicles dripping down the shelves...bummer! I feel terrible that he has to clean that up, go to the grocery, and get ready for a week of work...but if it makes you feel any better, it's cloudy and thunderstorms at Madeira Beach today! So sorry...we'll be home soon!


In the meantime...we are trying really hard {ahem...} to enjoy ourselves with the rest of the cousins while they're here for the weekend before they head to Disney...

But before Dan departed, we had a great boat ride spotting dolphins and enjoying the breeze!






Captain Jack had everyone on the boat head to the back in order to tip the boat downward {a little scary!} but he reassured us that we would not be disappointed! The dolphins love jumping in the wake of the boat! So awesome!
