Ah, the heart of the home! A place where family & friends gather, and a place where other things like to gather! {papers, bills, mail, dishes...} I have cleaned off the counters just for you, made some Lemon Delight Cookies, and have some music playing! Please have a seat, take off your shoes and have a cookie, or two!

And don't forget the cookies!
Lemon Delight Cookies
1 box lemon cake mix with pudding
2 cups frozen whipped topping, thawed
1 egg, slightly beaten
1/2 cup confectioners' sugar
Combine cake mix, whipped topping, and egg. Mix until moist. Form into small balls. Roll balls in sugar and place onto lightly greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 - 12 minutes. Let cool.
{the cake mix I used did not say it had pudding in it, and I put the goop in the sugar to help form into balls. Maybe if it has pudding, it wouldn't be sticky, but I don't know. My chef is out of town! They still taste yummy!}
If you'd like to visit more of the Manor, just go here! And thanks for coming, we love having company!
Yummy cookies! I will have to try these! Your kitchen is so pretty! I like your window treatment over the kitchen sink.... I am trying to decide what to do with my kitchen windows and do not want alot of fuss! I just need a little color. Thanks for sharing your home with us!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful kitchen...and beautiful kiddos!
ReplyDeleteThe cookies sound so yummy. I definitely want to make them but I have a question...what is frozen whipped topping?
Ohh! I hope you're going to share those at Bunco on Wednesday! I love your house as you know. I hope you are having a great week.
ReplyDeleteOk, I want your kitchen now! Wow, all that room! and I love the way it's set up. Beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI need your email address, I click on your email but your address won't come up. I need to ask you about a post I want to do.
I have to say I do understand how people can meet on the internet and become friends, after all my husband and I met on here (ICQ) almost 9 years ago. I will have to post about that.
I also met a someone when Ruben was born on a mom's forum and we talk almost everyday on the phone and have met twice. We met for the second time a few weeks ago, there are pictures on our family blog if you want to check them out. Her name is Jen and she is great.
Thank you for the compliment on my profile picture, I was just getting ready to change it until I read your comment. Once again, your awesome.
btw my email is quinonezfamily@newwavecomm.net if you want to send me a quick email so I can have your address....you don't even have to write anything in it. lol
Yum on the cookies, and your kitchen is so big. I love the island. Guess the maid came back from vacation, because it was spotless.
ReplyDeleteSeeing those cookies just brought back a rush of memories...that recipe was one of the first cookies that I can remember making when I was a girl. They are so yummy, and I like the way you can change up the cake mix flavor.
ReplyDeleteYour kitchen is gorgeous! I especially love the color of your cabinets. Maybe you mentioned this in another post, but did you all build your house? I confess to being a little jealous of all your countertop space...something that is severely lacking in my house!
I've never thought about putting a rug under the barstools! Great idea! Is that one from Target? If so, I've been drooling over it for a long time! So nice!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful kitchen! Your entire home looks so inviting! :) And the kids are doll babies. :)
