By now, we had fallen into a really nice routine of hitting the beach each morning playing in the sand and waves...

...then we'd head to the pool to relax and splash...
...and take several turns down the slide...
Abby didn't mind the pool...only if she didn't get wet! ha! I couldn't resist at least dipping her toes in!
It was great having the pool almost to ourselves each morning, and enjoying lunch poolside!
{And it was a great place for Abby to nap!}

The Crab Trap is one of the places we like to visit every time we come to Destin! It's a great place to sit inside, but still feel like you're on the beach with the window-less windows!

After dinner we love heading back to the beach for an evening walk...but this night big storms with lightening and thunder were blowing in...so we enjoyed watching from the balcony!
The next morning the storms were gone...

...but left behind some big waves...that Alex and Emily couldn't wait to ride on!

...followed by ice cream!
We planned on taking some pictures on the beach after dinner, but it started to rain...then we took a detour to avoid traffic, which turned out to be a l-o-n-g way around and over the bridge! But it was just what we needed...the evening cleared up and it was a beautiful sunset!
The days are going fast...
