November's pretty much over...{well...it is now...it's taken me over a day to edit and post all these fun memories!}
{seems like I just posted all the things I'm thankful for when we were half-way through the month, and now it's the end of the month!}
...so now it's time to wrap it up with all the things that happened way too fast...and all the things I continue to be thankful for...
Elizabeth celeberated her first big birthday...
Alex got more braces decked in red and green for Christmas...
We got our first snow...
{but it already melted over night}
I celebrated Thanksgiving with the entire second grade with my favorite second grader...
{apparently back in the day...the children stood at Thanksgiving feast...and they served the adults!}
Ellie and I had a fun visit...and I don't think she minded the attention!
...and I think Emily was pretty proud that she is her big sister and got to show her off to her friends!
We finally got the pool disaster finished...pretty much...
{Elizabeth supervised the entire project...from inside!}
{oh right...I already said that...but I can't believe it!}
This day was the highlight of the entire month for us ...the entire year... and I cherished it with all my might...and just like that...it's over! I only blinked once...and it still went in a flash! We didn't know if we would be so blessed as to add another member to our family...and she has been an answered prayer... and now she's one-year old!
And I don't want to forget any of it...
...breakfast as usual before Alex and Emily went to school...I love when you say da-da for bye-bye when they leave!
...lunch at McDonald's...you're only one...but you already love their french fries!
{sorry...you can just hand over the trophy for Mother of the Year right now!}
...picked up your super-duper cute and delicious cupcakes courtesy of dear sweet Aubrey...
{then a little shopping...which led to a nap in the car ride home}
...watched the first fluffy snowfall of the season and waited for Emily to get home from school {while Alex stayed for AfterHours}...
...relaxed in your new birthday beanbag...
...went outside and enjoyed the first fluffy snowfall before picking Alex up from school...
{she is preparing for her first ice-skating competition!}
...we went to Alex's basketball practice...at least until Daddy got there...then the girls went home to catch up and get ready to celebrate!
...and then ate yummy cupcakes...and made a fun mess!
...and un-wrapped gifts...
...you had so much fun ripping the paper! It was so exciting...I think it was better than the actual gift!
{you love your zebra PillowPet and you snuggled right up to it! now you have your very own and don't have to borrow Emily's!}
It was such a great day! We were sad that it had to end...and now you're well on your way to not being just a baby anymore...now you're just...one...and trying to walk and trying to talk all the time, and expressing your funny, sweet, determined and independent personality every second!
It was definitely an eventful and fun month full of things to be thankful for! And I'm even more excited to see what December has in store!
