{Mind} over Matter

I've talked about it over and over...and over...and now it's come...and gone...

...just like that...

{we couldn't hide from it...}

...it's time to get our {minds} back on schedules, math, spelling tests, reading and comprehension and explaining why or why not?

Even though our {minds} will be crammed with equations, history, library books/permission slips/science projects due dates, lunch money and getting up in time to catch the bus...

...we greeted the first day of school with a bit of excitement and eagerness to start a new year...

...because our {minds} and hearts will continuously be full with the many memories we made over the summer...and no amount of subject {matter} will take them away!

Here's to another great school year Alex and Emily!

Summer Week{End}

It's officially official...summer vacation is ending...one day left {insert sighing, sobbing, groaning and boo-hooing!} until school starts!

This is our last weekend before schedules, homework and early bedtimes begin...
...so we've been busy soaking up all the free time we have left!

Shopping...lunch...the Commons

New shoes...colored hair...building forts

Pet store...staying up late...bowling

Water sliding...'star sighting' at IU

Ice skating...back-to-school night

...and that's the {end}...one day left of summer...

...whatever we choose to fill it with...

...it certainly will not be used cleaning the house!

We have had a great summer...looking forward to beginning a new school year...and cherishing each and every weekend ahead! 

{someone who wishes she could go to school too!  e will surely miss these guys when they're gone}
