Another
month has gone by already?! It seems just like
yesterday that the holidays were here and we were enjoying the snowy mountains in Colorado. Yet, so much has happened between now and then...Alex has finished another season of basketball, we celebrated Valentine's Day, Grammie stayed with us for a few days, the girls have become roomies in their new bunk bed, Emily has competed in another ice-skating competition, my belly has grown bigger and bigger...with only 10 weeks now left to go! It's all going so fast, that I can't keep up with it!

But because it's going so fast...and it's getting harder and harder to keep up...I certainly want to preserve our memories, before they slip away too!
So before we move into Spring...although I'm
sooooo ready...I want to go back to our snowy Winter holiday!
Dan, Alex and Emily enjoyed another full day of ski lessons with their instructor Mollie and are becoming three really great skiers! I wonder if I'll ever be able to catch up with them!

While the three ski pros were on the slopes, Ellie and I enjoyed a walk along the beautiful trail along our condo and shopping in Lionshead Village!
We also enjoyed a sno-cat ride 12,000ft up the mountain to see some spectacular views!
It was an hour ride each way to reach the top...and then back down again...

We visited a ranch for dinner and a sleigh ride on a beautiful...but cold evening!

We went tubing...
We went ice-skating...
We went sledding and enjoyed the village and snowfall one last time before heading home...
And Alex and mommy stayed up on New Year's Eve to see the ball drop and fireworks over the mountain!
We have loved going to Vail over the Christmas holiday and have considered it one of our favorite family vacations! The mountains are so breathtaking and being able to see them during this time of year surrounded by snow and pretty Christmas lights makes it even more magical and memorable each year! Until next time...
...Now...bring on Spring!
