Another birthday has come and gone...
...Elizabeth has officially turned
two...and I think she's known it already for quite awhile! What a personality she has! She's independent, she likes to say
no,
quit it,
stop it and
get out of here more than I care to hear it...but she also
loves to give hugs and kisses and she has
the best giggle I have ever heard!
We started celebrating with a small family party the weekend before her birthday with Grandma & Grandpa, Great-Grandma Martha, Uncle Jeff, Aunt Janet, Kendall, Emma and Cameron! She was excited to see everyone! {even though she cries when someone other than mommy tries to hold her!}

Great-Grandma is always the first to say she'll be at a party...and she never misses one! She is one amazing Grandma...here she is with Alex, Emily and Elizabeth...just three of her eighteen great-grandchildren!

We are thankful to have family who are close and celebrate the so many birthdays with us and our kids...as much as I don't care to realize that I am only getting older too...

Thursday little Ellie officially turned two!
She is now already two years and one week old! ...sigh...

She sat in the prized middle chair decorated just for her on her special day...had her favorite breakfast {Danimals yogurt smoothie and PopTarts}...and Emily made her a special book about Super Why, her favorite show ever!
Alex and Emily helped me put up her toddler bed after school...in the hopes that little miss Ellie is now big enough to stay...and sleep in her own bed...and not with mommy all night!

It's hard to believe how quickly the years are going! We are amazed at how big Elizabeth is getting, how much she talks, how independent she is, how much happiness she brings to our lives, and how much she loves Alex and Emily! Happy Birthday Ellie! We look forward to watching you learn and grow...just not so fast...
