Hit the {Books}

Now that school is in session...Alex and Emily aren't the only ones who need to hit the books...

Although I've been very fortunate to have the blessed opportunity to stay at home with all three of our kids...working part-time with Alex and a little less with Emily {to not at all}...I am still keeping any chances I might ever have at working in my field again...

That means in order to keep my x-ray license...I am required to maintain so many continuing eduacation credits every two years.  Sounds pretty easy...and ample time to maintain this requirement...right?

It does...but somehow...every... single... time... it's time to renew my license again...I have a {cursed} two-year stack of tests that need to be taken and passed in a matter of a few weeks!  {yikes!}

So if you don't see me...hear from me...and wonder if everything's okay...
I'll be here...

...not at all taking any breaks to read my Nook or glance at my The Land of Nod catalogue... ahem...
However...I did just finish reading The Help first so I wouldn't get too distracted... and it was a wonderful book!  I might just read it again...after my homework, that is...

...and if this little angel ever decides to give up the fight of her life over taking a nap...

...so I might get a little study time in.
{I think she fought this battle more than the actual nap...maybe 40 minutes of fighting to about 40 minutes of napping...okay we'll call it even this time!  whew!}

Whiskers...can I get some help here?

No?  You don't have any trouble taking naps whatsoever!

I'll be back...hopefully as a {re}newly-licensed radiologic technologist...

  1. Can you get a babysitter to come in for a few hours while you step out to the library for a few hours. Don't lose your oppty to stay on top of your career. One day you will want to go back... OMG love that picture of Elizabeth sideways in her crib. It's the 3rd ones that always do us in! LOL
