Just Another Day at the Beach

It's been fun going back and looking at the photos from Cancun and we're wishing we were still there every day!  It was probably the most relaxing one we've ever had...I even read a book!  I loved sitting on the balcony and by the pool with my book and enjoying the sound of the waves! 

We did spend lots of time at the beach too!  Who could resist that cool, turquoise water?  Not me!  Alex and Emily loved jumping the waves and playing in the sand...

We loved looking for shells...

...really big shells...

...and even teeny-tiny ones too...

...even a shark tooth...at least a tooth of some kind

{but Alex thought a shark tooth sounded pretty cool!}

Then we'd always end up back in the pool to relax...

...or eat at the snak bar {it's always about the food...delicious quesadillas!} and listen to the mariachi band in the evening...

Until next year {I hope!}...we have such fun and wonderful memories...and a million more shells to find a place in our home...but I love them, they remind me of the beach every day! 

{not to mention all the sand that found its way into our suitcases!}
