End of the rainbow

After having a slow-paced pajama day yesterday, today was filled with lots of activities and places to go. Wednesdays are my cherished MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) days, and I love sitting and having brunch and chatting with all my mom friends! I also look forward to our monthly BUNCO nights which I am anxiously awaiting tonight! Emily was able to stay for lunch at preschool today for a pizza party, and that left some time for me and Alex to have lunch. Of course we went to Chili's which is Alex's favorite place to eat! We go almost once a week, and the staff seem to know us pretty well! The waiter today said, "Just the two of you today?" We devoured the basket of chips and then picked up Emily and headed to her ice-skating lesson.

After that, it was time for Alex's tennis lesson, so we headed back across town, over the river and through the woods!

Upon returning home, we saw a beautiful rainbow, almost like it was welcoming us back at the end of a long, busy day. Luckily I had my camera (of course!) and snapped a couple of pictures, and then it just disappeared! It's good to be home!
