Alex and Emily did not have school today so we enjoyed a little trip to the Outlet Mall {okay...maybe just I enjoyed that!} lunch at Applebee's so they could finally use their coupon for free Oreo shakes for getting all A's...and color Easter eggs!
This is Elizabeth's first Easter! Another first...she's growing so fast!
Of course she didn't get to color any eggs...but she was a very careful observer!
I'm so happy that they still enjoy and get excited about the Easter Bunny...even if they are starting to wonder just a little bit...
And even happier that they are able to celebrate the true meaning of Easter even more!
Also...this sweet little ducky has some pretty {egg}citing news...
We noticed her showing up on random mornings and just hanging out on our pool cover...
We couldn't figure out why Quacky {of course we named her!} kept coming back...especially since there's a much nicer place to swim just across the street in the little lake...
Until I discovered the answer under one of our bushes...
of nine! I hope we get to see her sweet fluffy little ones when they hatch! So exciting!
May you have a happy and blessed Easter and celebrate all that we have in life...so that we may celebrate an even bigger reward with Christ!

You're such a good mom to dye eggs...I never do because I don't care for it. Don't worry, my mom yells at me about it every year :) Miss Elizabeth is growing so fast. Wow, and new life growing right under your nose. Have a blessed Easter weekend.
ReplyDeleteWe never seem to get creative either! I thought the exact same thing last night while the boys were dyeing eggs:) How cool that you might have some little ducklings soon! We have a nest with bluebird eggs in it right now and I'm hoping that they hatch soon:) I hope you have a great Easter with your family Carrie!
