Happy Easter!

This has been one of the best Easter celebrations so far! The kids were so excited for Easter morning! I asked Dan if I should set my alarm so we wouldn't be late for the early church service...and he looked at me like are you kidding? He said, "They'll be up by six." He was so right...six. on. the. dot!
They were thrilled to see a letter from the Easter Bunny! They each left him an egg and some treats...and he left us a bowl full of jelly beans and a note that said:
Alex, Emily and Elizabeth,
Thank you so much for the eggs! It was a tasty treat before I hop on to the next house!
I hope you find the Jackpot egg!
Happy Easter!
Easter Bunny
This year Alex left a note for the Easter Bunny asking him if he would hide a special Jackpot egg...and Emily found it...
The kids run around so fast to find every last egg...
There was even one in the fish tank! Alex found it first...it had $2.25 of quarters inside...a buried treasure!
Emily got the tail this time...the Easter Bunny always gets it stuck in the door on his way out!
And they each got a basket full of treats!
And after...
I love the doors on the church...and it has become my tradition to get a picture with the kids in front of it every Easter!
This year we are blessed to have Elizabeth and for our friends to get us a family picture!
And just as we were leaving...a {Easter} bunny hopped by with good tidings...
Such a wonderful morning...{abundant} with treats, family and friends!
Back at home...we enjoyed an {abundant} supply of chocolate and sugar...and as Dan was out mowing the grass...he cut it close to these baby bunnies...
What a sweet surprise to find on Easter! They are so precious!
Our house is {abundant} with new life around here! With the addition of Elizabeth to our family... awaiting Quacky's little ducklings...and now these sweet bunnies!
Yesterday we celebrated Easter with the big family gathering that we are fortunate to have just about every year! This was Elizabeth's first huge event...
...and this is about the last moment before she just melted down!
She was so tired and maybe a bit overwhelmed...but we are lucky to have so much family close by!
Great Grandma Martha fits right in!
We definitely had a memorable Easter this year...and we can't wait to celebrate all the {abundant} blessings that Christ has given us throughout the year to come!

I adore the girls' dresses! Looks like such a great time. Tell Alex I said way to go on finding that egg so high up...you guys were creative. Happy Resurrection Day!!
ReplyDeleteEmily is too cute with her bedhead in that first picture! And man the Easter bunny must be tired before he gets to my house because all he does here is leave a basket of goodies:) It looks like you had a wonderful day!
ReplyDeleteEveryone looks so great! I am so glad that you all had such a happy Easter! I love all the pictures. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun celebration...you are so blessed!
ReplyDeleteI love that you found bunnies! That is so special!! My kids would have loved to discover bunnies!!
The doors on that church are so gorgeous. I don't blame you for wanting pictures in front of them. The kids looked so cute all dressed up. Precious. Love the real bunnies too. You had a blessed Easter.
