This little chubbers turned {two-months} on Saturday!
No...wait...not that one...
this one...
That one's Emily at about four months...
This one's Elizabeth at {two} months...
Confused? I can't get over how similar they look!
It's unbelievable that Emily was ever that small once...and that Elizabeth is already that big! I absolutely love, love those chubby rolls...there's just nothing cuter!
{two} peas in a pod...
These past two months have gone so fast! I know I keep saying it over and over...but it's just the facts!
As much as I love snuggling with her before she gets too big {...which will never happen, btw} ...I'm trying to get her on a bedtime routine...in her own bed...and guess what...she doesn't mind it so much...she actually seems to be quite content with it...it's always me that has a harder time...sniff...
She's such a happy baby!
{smiling at Daddy!}
I love it when she lays her head on my shoulder...
I love her sweet cooing and bubbly giggles...
I love her sweet baby smell...
I love her chubby legs...
...and I love watching her sleep...
I love holding her little hands...
...and kissing those chubby cheeks...
Why is it these two months can fly by in a blink of an eye...but trying to get the weight off is taking forever?! And trust me...it has nothing to do with the cookies, Chex Mix or even the caramel Kisses from the candy jar...really...it doesn't...I just don't understand it... curses!
But I wouldn't take it back even if it meant I could be thinner! I would gain 100 more pounds if meant I get to enjoy every second with this precious trio...
{...well...on a good day anyway...ha! I kid, only kidding!}
And they are so lucky to have each other too...Elizabeth laughs and smiles when Alex and Emily play peek-a-boo with her...such a blessing to have these two for her big brother and sister!
How did we get to be so fortunate to have these three hand-picked from God just for us to share those gorgeous smiles and giggles and little moments with...we're so thankful every single day we get to witness those moments!
* And...in other exciting news...today marks another super-duper important date...
...my {two}-year blogoversary! That's right...{two} whole years! Can you believe it?
It all started here...and it's about the same today...more snow heading our way, which probably means more snow days...but so much fun for Alex and Emily!
This blog has not only been a place to track the happenings around the Manor...and share those precious snapshots of Alex, Emily and Elizabeth...
...but it has become a place to share in some special bloggy friendships! And to thank you for sharing your life with ours...I'm giving away a $10 Target giftcard...my favorite place to browse, socialize and somehow drain the bank account...how does that happen?!
* Just leave a comment if you're a follower...or even if you're not and you're just here for a free giveaway!
* Leave another comment letting me know the one thing you went to Target for...and the one-hundred other items that you really left with!
That's {two} chances to win! I'll pick a winner on Friday February 4th using random.org!
I love hearing from you and I appreciate all your sweet comments!
Thanks so much for visiting...here's to another fulfilling year at Martin Manor!
Oh darn...I am the first comment. They never win. LOL Or maybe I will because I am on a lucky streak. LOL
ReplyDeleteYour children are so cute. It is incredible how much em and liz/beth/eli/ elizabeth look alike. Did you like all the nicknames i have for her. I really like Eli. I once met a girl named elizabeth that went by Eli...totally loved it. Too cute.
I am a follower. I love your blog and I love the thoughtful comments that you always leave me. It is way better than "great pictures" LOL I would never leave a comment like that...would you? :) Oh boy...can you tell it is late and I am running on coffee and chocolate?
Second comment...Happy 2 year blogoversary! I shop at target and run in for two things and leave spending 60.00 or more. I just have to browse every rack and shelf. Always find something fun on the clearance rack! Always find something that i don't need but buy anyways too :) So pick me. My hubs would love you & I would love you too :)
ReplyDeleteLove the tub photos! I have not seen sisters who look any more alike than your girls!
ReplyDeleteOk, Target... 99% of the time I am a stick to the list kind of girl, BUT there is something about pink and red things with hearts on them that really gets me. The last time I was in Target I went in for ballet flats and came out with $60 in cute Chinese take-out boxes filled with Valentine goodies (but no food goodies... I'm still working on my baby weight too!).
Hi. Great photos as always! : ) So neat that they look that much alike.
ReplyDeleteHappy Blogaversary! : ) That is so exciting! And for the chance to win a gift card to my very favorite store!!!
Last time I went to Target was for diapers and I came out with pink heart shaped marshmallows, sippy cups, bibs, and a few other things I can't remember. Basically I got everything but diapers! Ha. Crazy what that place does to ya! : )
ReplyDeleteWhat cute pictures!!!! Emily is a doll :) I can hardly believe that is has already been 2 months!!!!
ReplyDeleteI hardly go to Target anymore because it is way on the other side of the town I shop and it is not in the "best" area....I wish it where closer, I would def. drop some money in there :) Happy 2 year blog anniversary !!!
ReplyDeleteOpps.... above I meant to say that Elizabeth was a doll...not that Emily is not! They both are dolls :) what sweet sisters !
Wow! They look sooooo much alike! Our kids don't look a thing alike :) I always feel the need to tell people they have the same Daddy, lol!
ReplyDeleteHappy Anniversary!! Don't get me started on Target...went in last Sunday for toothpaste for the kids...toothpaste...and left with $119.00 worth of stuff...much of which we totally didn't need (but I did score a cute long-sleeve t-shirt!).
Enjoy the snow :) I am jealous!
I follow...but more importantly...how cute are those kiddoes of yours!! I love the picture of Elizabeth laughing out loud. She and Emily do look so much alike.
ReplyDeleteSo the other day I went to Target to get stuff for Caleb's party and came out with stuff for Valentine's for Jamison. I thought it was really funny because I forgot to get toilet paper...sigh. Guess I gotta go back :)
ReplyDeleteOf course I follow...I mean, we're neighbors!
ReplyDeleteI love Target. I never really go with a list because that's just crazy to think I would actually stick to it!
ReplyDeletei can not believe how similar they look!! you make adorable little babies ;)
ReplyDeleteand i'm a follower :)
ReplyDeletei could go into target for just milk and walk out with a cart full of other goodies. i have realized if i just stay on the grocery side of the store i spend a lot less so in the past 6-9 months i have save A LOT of money! ;)
Holy Moly, they DO look SO much alike!! They are bother beautiful girls and fortunate to have a wonderful and handsome brother too!
ReplyDeleteThey look so much alike! You had me fooled there for a minute because I thought the first one was Elizabeth and the first thing I thought was "She looks just like Emily"! But she is obviously a little more chunky:) What a fun giveaway Carrie! Happy 2 year blogoversary!!
ReplyDeleteI can go in with plans to just get milk and bread....but the dollar section always sucks me in! I can't leave with at least $5 worth of dollar spot stuff:)
ReplyDeleteI told you from the get-go that Emily and Elizabeth are actually twins! ;) They look so much alike!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on your two year blogoversary! :) And you know I'm a follower... ;)
I don't get to go to Target often...it isn't nearby...but when I DO get to go, I love the home decor! Such fun things they carry. I also love the baby department. I once went there to purchase a very particular pair of shoes (and they were out of the size I needed) but left there with lots of things for my new grandson (who wasn't even born yet!). That's just the way I roll! LOL!
ReplyDeleteI am a follower. I love your blog and think you take amazing pictures (of your beautiful children). And, no, I am not trying to flattery you just because of the contest. ;)
ReplyDeleteThe last time I went to Target (which was last week, I guess). I went to pick up a prescription from the pharmacy. I bought a sled on clearance. I also bought some snow pants and some little girl mittens. And, I bought some chocolate. Honestly, I've done a lot more damage on other trips. But, I was not even thinking about buying a sled- so it was pretty funny to me.
ReplyDeleteShe's precious - they all are so gorgeous. And Emily and Elizabeth's baby pics do look so smiliar...amazing. :)
ReplyDeleteI'm a follower! :)
Target - love that place! Lately I've been going in for diapers, and leaving with AT LEAST one or two things from the $1 aisles that they assault you with when you walk in the front door!
