Merry & Bright {and EARLY!}

Christmas morning arrived bright and early at our house...we were up before 5:30 and presents were all unwrapped and opened by 6:30...yawn...

...but it's so hard to sleep knowing you might wake up to this...
{after sprinkling reindeer food outside...}
{and leaving cookies and chocolate milk out for Santa, of course!}

Alex has asked Santa for two years...and he must have been awfully good this year to finally get these...

No question...his favorite gift!

...followed by this...
{which looks like trouble to me!}

Emily was so excited to see a camper for her dolls and animals when she came downstairs!
{we decided it may need its own parking spot in the garage!}

And she's had a ball scooting all around the house on her new scooter...
...playing with her new Barbies...

...and taking a big donut break...

She was so thrilled to get this, ha!
Elizabeth was happy to get a few little surprises too...

It has been a fun Christmas!

Especially when we get to spend it with our 3 most precious loves...

We can't leave out our traditional family Christmas Eve either!  It's hard to believe how big the kids get every year!

The cousins don't see each other as much now that they're all in school and so many activities...so they enjoy this time of year!

...and getting presents sure makes it lots of fun, too!
{Alex got a telescope...I guess in all the fun, I forgot to get his picture...darn!}

Elizabeth slept the whole time...but I think she loved all the attention she was getting!

I just can't believe another Christmas has passed already...sigh...but we'll always have these wonderful memories!

Hope you have a Happy New Year too!  I'm sure I'll be up celebrating with Elizabeth this year!

  3. Oh my goodness - is 5:30 AM what I have to look forward to when the kids get older?! I think we were just finishing up assembling things around that time :) You captured some great photos this year that I am sure you will treasure forever! I love the one of the girls and their AG dolls. I thought about getting my 2 year old one this year but I know I'm jumping the gun! We got her Bitty Baby last Christmas and she was obviously too young for it so I'm trying to learn from that lesson ;) You look fabulous and Elizabeth is just too cute for words! Wishing you and your family a fabulous 2011!
