It was like an enormous swimming pool! And the pool was so neat...it was like part of the ocean when you were swimming in it!
We had such a wonderful first trip to Cancun! We left early in the morning and were there by evening...with two flights and a slight delay in Atlanta...but once we arrived...as tired as we were...we couldn't wait to get down to the pool and the beach!
{But before we even arrived at the condo...we had to stop at Walmart (we had a transportation service pick us up at the airport and then take us to the condo...we walked the rest of the time we were there). Shopping at Walmart is not really my idea of fun anyway...but in Mexico...it's interesting! We weren't sure what we were buying sometimes...like the milk (is it 2%, 1% or skim? It definitely wasn't skim once we tried it!). And the prices...we didn't notice at first...but when we looked at the hot dogs for $45...we realized it was pesos, not dollars! Thank goodness!}
{...We had great views from our condo...the windows went all the way around floor to ceiling, so we could see the beach anywhere...and the bedrooms in the back faced the other side of the bay and the city...there was also another small balcony to sit and watch the sun set...}
{...okay...down to the beach...}
It's a different lifestyle in Cancun...we were almost always the only ones by the pool by 9:30 in the morning. Most people would show up later in the afternoon so it was like we had the whole pool to ourselves! Emily always makes friends wherever we go. There was one family there a few days when we were...and she even played with some girls who spoke Spanish! I'm not sure they knew what they were saying to one another! But they still had fun!
These are just the first couple of days...and since I've already overloaded you with pictures...I'll share some more tomorrow! I didn't even think I took that many pictures {ha!} because I didn't like taking my camera to the beach and I took alot of them with the little camera.
{Boy...I wish we were still there...it's no fun unpacking and putting things away...sigh...}
Oh wow!!! That is amazing! Um, is that Condo for rent? I would like to put my name in for a week...;)
