{I hop tat yor day wel by good}
{I hope that your day will be good}
So I perked up and took some pictures of her sweetness {after she reclaimed the stickers she gave me, ha!} outside with the beautiful blossoms.
Thank you Emily for your sweet, sincere sympathy! You sure know how to make me feel better and appreciate these special moments! I love you!
Now...could you put some of that energy in an envelope too and give it to me? ...sigh...
Dan is also out of town for a couple days...and Alex has a science fair project coming up...
...well...at least this part was actually kind of fun...
...now...trying to help Alex explain this reaction using the Scientific Method and what ratio of vinegar and baking soda creates the strongest volcano-like eruption...not so much! ...um...I'm not feeling so good again... Dan, help!
Awwwweee...so sweet! Love her phonetic spelling too..warms a kinder teacher's heart! Hope you are feeling better soon...I am not so hot on science either...that is Ryan's job! But what a fun science experiment!
ReplyDeleteEmily is seriously the sweetest little girl ever! And that science project looks like fun...but I completely understand wanting help explaining the science part of it!
ReplyDeleteMy kids have always been big on notes and get-well cards, too, and I absolutely love that about them! :) Isn't it just the sweetest thing when they show you how much they care? Wouldn't trade it for anything in the world! And I have all of those little notes and homemade cards stashed away around here, too. They're great pick-me-ups on days when you're down.
ReplyDeleteHope the experiment goes smoothly...and is over with quickly! ;)
so presh... what a sweet emily and what a way to melt mama's heart! your kids are cutie patooties. love the pictures! such great shots. have fun with the science project.
ReplyDeleteThat is so sweet. I love how she took her stickers back....
ReplyDeleteThat little Emily of yours sure warms my heart as well. She will be your best friend forever...isn't that a fun thought! Hoping you are feeling better and good luck with the science experiment. Science was never my strong suit so I don't have any recommendations for you.
ReplyDeleteMaybe we will try your science project for a rainy day activity. LOL Hope that you are feeling better soon. Emily is just so sweet and adorable. Love her note.
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear your not feeling well. It's tough when Mom is down and out. I am always honest with the kids and tell them I'm not feeling well and that Mom will not be herself today.
ReplyDeleteWe just got a BLAST book for Owen. It has many experiments in it where we can blow things up and explain how it happened.
Today we are taking a bar of soap and microwaving it. The end result is a creature of some sort that he can "decorate".
Love Emily's heart!
I love a sincere heart (must be in her genes). What a fun experiment. I hope you're feeling better very soon!
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh...so, so, so sweet! I love that little note! And what gorgeous photos! I hope you feel better soon!
ReplyDeleteThat is so sweet. Can't wait until my son can start writing me letters. lovely blog!
