Time to join Pam and share the moments we're going to miss one day...because life is so short! Sometimes it's hard to find those moments among our busy schedules, but that's what I love about participating in this...it makes me stop and think about it and appreciate them so much more! Be sure to stop by Pam's and share your moments with us!
Don't you just love this time of year? Me too! It's my favorite! Not only do I get to celebrate my birthday in October and make fun, festive cupcakes...
...but I get to enjoy all the beautiful colors of the season, too...
I know the season has just begun...but I'll sure miss this time of year...it only signifies that winter is soon to follow!
I'll also really miss the days when my little ghost and goblin are too old to dress up for trick-or-treating, wondering what they want to be...Emily usually changing her mind several times up until Halloween...and come home excited to empty their treat bags full of cavities candy! I love how their spirit always brings out the kid in me!
We have so much fun decorating for Halloween... {although, according to Alex, our house isn't very spooky and why do we have to use the same decorations every year?}
More than trick-or-treating...Alex and Emily love waiting at home for other ghosts and goblins to visit the Manor so they can pass out treats...and I'll miss their excitement while waiting by the door wondering what spooky, fun, silly or pretty costume will walk up next!
{see a little 'ghost'...or maybe that's Alex running crazy down the sidewalk!}
What will you miss some day? Please visit Pam and share your moment with us too!

I will miss this time of year as the kids get older. Jamison is so excited about Halloween and I love listening to her giggle about going trick or treating. Your home looks lovely.
ReplyDeleteI do enjoy this time of year too. The kids excitement makes it all worth while. Super cute decorations. I will miss it when mine get to old for Trick or Treating too.
ReplyDeleteCan I come trick or treating over at your house?!!
ReplyDeleteWhat awesome decorations! I don't like to do too spooky either. Looks great. The kids and I plan on cutting out pumpkins and bats today to hang up.
ReplyDeleteI already miss it!! Living in PHX, we get no fall here...sad but true! So I live my fall through my fellow bloggers blogs! Love fall...the beautiful colors, the cool crisp air, aaaahhhh! And I am sure it won't be long where the boys will be 'too' old for mom to be walking them around, but for now I will cherish it too!!! Great pics! Love the one of Alex, oh I mean the ghost coming around the corner!
ReplyDeleteI love your decor! My mouth is watering looking at those Fab cupcakes...sweetness!
ReplyDeleteWOW!!! Everything is lovely!! And what are you talking about you like my cupcakes... look at YOUR cupcakes!!! DELICIOUSNESS!!!

Blessings-
Amanda
Oh wow! You guys really "do it up" for Halloween, don't ya? Your place looks AMAZING! Great job, Carrie. We do NOTHING. NADA. ZILCH.
ReplyDeleteLoving watching your backgrounds change this evening. ha ha ha I'm likin' the sunflower one that's up right now.
I love the shots of your house...cool! And I so heart this time of the year...except it seems like such short season and it goes by wayyyy too fast!!
ReplyDeleteI love the decorations! They are so great! The kids look so excited~
ReplyDeleteI just love your decorations Carrie. They are awesome. Want to come do my house? Ha!! Love all the fun fall pictures too.
ReplyDeleteYour decorations are SUPER cute! I still can't seem to get into the fall spirit...mainly because it is 90 degrees outside! I hope it cools down some before Halloween!
ReplyDeleteI love your decorations, so cool!
ReplyDeleteYour house looks so festive! My kids love seeing our house transform into a spooky, haunted place too. Thanks for stopping by my blog Carrie!
ReplyDeleteBTW - I see you are a fan of Nicole Nordeman! Love her too!
Great fall decorations, inside and out. I love fall too. The colors of nature are out of this world.
