Pump Up the Volume & Party!

{Remember this box?}

I spray-painted it silver and glued ketchup cups {from Burger King!} on it {after painting them silver too} for the knobs and used a hanger wrapped in silver pipe cleaners for the antennae. I think it turned out okay...and Alex thinks it's cool! That's all that matters to me! He also chose to be a JVC! He really knows his electronics!

He was a hit when he had the chance to try it out at a Halloween party at the public library! He only knocked out a few little kids when he turned from side to side!

Emily, was thrilled to get the chance to have pink hair {although the pictures don't show it very well} and dress up in her pink leopard costume...Meow!

{Emily and another lovely pink leopard}

Alex and Emily had a fun night playing games and getting lots of treats!

{Don't you love the little girl's dress in front of Alex & Emily? She is a friend of Emily's and this was a tutu from the dance recital they were in! I love it, it's so cute!}

We are excited for trick-or-treating...I really hope the rain holds off! We don't want Alex to short-out if he gets wet...and cats do not like the rain!

  8. Those costumes are fantastic. I wish I could be creative enough to make a costume. My son has a silly hat day on Friday and he said something about making it. I don't know if I can! Such fun photos! I bet they had a blast at the party.

  10. They both look SUPER cute! I love a great creative Halloween costume! The box ideas are always so much fun...but I think my boys would hate being confined for so long. Maybe when they are a little older!
