Sometimes it's hard to find those moments among our busy schedules, but that's what I love about participating in this...it makes me stop and think about it and appreciate them so much more! This week started the new year for our local MOPS group and I am so excited! As you already know...I love my MOPS group and this will be my sixth year as a member! It's such an amazing support group for moms with little ones and I've definitely made some life-long friends!
Just look at all these beautiful moms! This is one of our biggest groups, yet...nearly fifty moms!

I'm not sure where I'd be without them! Some of them I haven't even met, yet...but being a part of this amazing ministry... we are already connected!
I really miss Alex and Emily being a part of the MOPPETS ministry for the children...and they miss it too! Perhaps God will bless us with another bundle, but if not...this could be my last year since my kiddos aren't preschoolers anymore...and I will really miss this extraordinary group! That's why I am so thankful that I will get the chance to be a part of something even bigger when I attend the annual MOPS Convention in Nashville, TN next week with three other moms ...where we will join nearly 5000 other moms from around the world! I had the opportunity to attend a few years ago...and it was one of the most spiritual, encouraging and uplifting experiences I've had!
I couldn't ask for anything more!

That looks like an awesome group of moms! I bet you have a ton of fun with them. I have always wanted to join a MOPS group, but the closest one to us is about 30 minutes away!

ReplyDeleteI love, love, love MOPS! My group starts this morning!! MOPS has blessed me beyond belief throughout the years that I have been going. I am with you- I will miss it when my kids are older. I love it so much, though, I hope to help out with the moppets ministry when my kids are all older so I can give back to the ministry that has helped me so much. Beautiful picture!

ReplyDeleteWhat a great group! I would love to find a group of women like that. I hope you enjoy your last year. I'm sure even after you stop going to the meetings you'll still be in contact with the friends that you've made.
ReplyDeleteI could not live without my Mom's group as well. WE stayed out till midnight lastnight after our sale was over. I can't wait to post the pics.
