Say What?

Every once in awhile, the kids say something that just strikes me as funny and makes me smile! The other day I took the kids to McDonalds for some ice cream...I was really craving a chocolate-dipped ice-cream cone! {Too bad they don't sell those any more! Bummer! I was a little upset and really wanted to yell at the speaker and say, "Then why is it still on your menu?!"} Okay...that's not the funny part, sorry!

Emily and I settled for just a plain vanilla ice-cream cone {it was still good!} and Alex just had to have a caramel sundae with Oreo cookie topping! {He is definitely my son!} On the way home he took his first bite and said in the most dramatic voice you can imagine, "OH...this is SOOOOOOOOOO goooooooood! Mmmmmmm, Mmmmmmm..." and he mumbled with a mouth full of ice cream. Then he said...and this is what was so funny to me..."Oh my gosh, this is so DELICIOUS, I might just have to marry it!"...in all seriousness! Where did he hear that? I just thought it was hilarious! Maybe you had to be there, but he cracks me up sometimes with the things he says!

I'm going to have to try this delicious sundae the next time we go to McDonalds, I guess!

    Oh how funny! My kids still crack me up sometimes! I used to love dipped cones and you can usually get them in the winter here at McDonalds but some discontinued (guess it's seasonal for some?) so that's when you buy them at Dairy Queen!

    I am sure they listen to us more than we think.

    Owen went for a ride on he Gator lastnight and when he came in exclaimed it had been YEARS since he had a ride like that.

    What's funny is that the little games/sayings that were around when we were kids are STILL going strong. Kinda weird to me that they don't get lost in transition...

    I totally get where Alex was coming from. I personally could definitely marry a McDonalds cheeseburger! :) That was super cute of him!

    And I can't believe they don't have the dipped cones anymore! Since when? Those were the best!!!

    What a funny little man! It sure does make a person wonder where they come up witht his stuff.
    Oh, and I love the pictures of the kittens. The one of Whiskers is super adorable! Ah, HECK! They are both adorable!
