"Not Me!" Monday

Welcome to Not Me! Monday! This blog carnival was created by MckMama. You can head over to her blog to read what she and so many others have not been doing this week!

...sigh...where has the week gone...

I thought for sure I could sleep in on Saturday, and catch up from the week...but instead I did not wake up to the sound of little pieces of something, lots of little pieces of something hitting the kitchen floor! I did not want to get up and look...but did not find Emily sitting on the floor surrounded by an entire family-sized box of Lucky Charms all over the floor! "It was an askident {accident}..." is all she kept saying ...sigh...

After that was all cleaned up, we did not get to watch Alex's first soccer game! He did not have a great time...and run hard with a smile on his face the whole time!

{Lucky #Seven}

After a fun, winning soccer game... Falcons won 3-0! woo-hoo! ...we did not go and pick up a new guest to reside at Martin Manor...

{Welcome Whiskers!}

Nope, not us...we did not pick up one kitten to live here because that would just put Skipper in a tizzy...so as if one kitten wasn't enough... we did not bring home two...

{Welcome Snowball!}

Seriously we did not do that...because who could not resist this...

Not me...that's for sure!

And...I did not miss a phone call because I was searching all over the house for the phone...when it was on the base the entire time...I mean, where else would it be! And because I am not a procrastinator and put things off for eternity...I did not just fully unpack the shorts and swimsuits from my suitcase. That's right...I did not finally put that big black suitcase away that I've been tripping over from our vacation nearly 2 months ago...just in time to maybe take another trip soon...

Not me...none of it happened!

What did you do or not?

  5. Why is it that we look all over for things when they are right where they are supposed to be. I do that all of the time. The kittens are so cute. We can't have any because I'm allergic. Enjoy!

    Mathew's team is the Falcons.
    We have a Calico cat named Whiskers.
    We have a Siamese named Snowball. Want me to send you pictures as proof.

  10. I am so glad I stopped by here this morning. You inspired me to do a Not Me! post and I haven't done one in a long time. We spent our weekend playing soccer, too. I wish we were closer, I'd get your help finding a home for a stray cat that's been hanging around my house.

  11. Oh, those kittens are sooooo CUTE! Our daycare lady's cat had kittens and I attempted to bring a fluffy little sweetie home last week, but my hubby put the kibosh on that one and said that one cat and two dogs was enough so I had to bring her back. I cried and cried...almost more than Grant did :( Oh well, maybe someday! Hope you enjoy your two little fluff balls :)

  12. Great pictures! Great action going on there. Your kids are sure cute.

    And those kittens...your poor doggie. But those kittens are so precious. We have one male cat that just turned one in July & he is enough trouble for us.

    The kids will have so much fun with them.

    Have a great week.
