Time to join Pam and share the moments we're going to miss one day...because life is so short! Sometimes it's hard to find those moments among our busy schedules, but that's what I love about participating in this...it makes me stop and think about it and appreciate them so much more! Be sure to stop by Pam's and share your moments with us!
We've made some wonderful memories in the last 14 days...but we are heading home! I know when we look back at the fun pictures of swimming, sunshine, sand and family, we will wish we were back at the beach...but we are ready to head home and get back to schedules and school starting...yikes! We had beautiful sunny, hot weather every day and swam more hours than we slept! We'll really miss having no concept of time or knowing what day it is...but it's always a good feeling being in the comforts of your own home! Until next year...we'll miss...
feeding the seagulls...
the ocean and the beach...
the sunsets and beautiful skies...
trying to catch lizards... {Emily caught two...or the same one twice!}
We'll see you at home!{insert Dan!}

I love the picture of the sky with the rainbow. So happy you all had a great trip and I pray for safe travels home and a smooth transition of unpacking!
ReplyDeleteWow, those pictures are breath taking! I adore the one of the kids sitting in the chairs on the beach watching the ocean/sunset. So simple yet sweet! And thos sunsets...beautiful! Safe travels!
ReplyDeleteGreat pictures! I really love the last one! I'm glad you had a great vacation...and now you get to go back and get ready for school! Can you believe the summer is already over? It seems like it was only a few days ago that we were talking about preschool graduation...now it's time to start Kindergarten!
ReplyDeleteAh, all good things must come to an end right?
ReplyDeleteI can't wait till we can vacation like this. For us right now with a 6, 2-3 yr olds and an 8month old vacation is too stressful. We will wait till the kids get bigger.
Have a safe trip back home.
I know what you mean. When we were gone for 15 days, I was missing home, but I do miss being on the beach without a care in the world except for having fun. Great pictures and thanks for taking us on vacation with you. Gorgeous rainbows.
ReplyDeleteDoesn't it suck to have to go home?!?!
ReplyDeleteFabulous pictures!
Aww! Vacation is almost over? I am so glad you shared it with all of us! I love looking at all of your pictures every time! I have posted some pics from the last couple of weeks at home with our family. But they do not quite measure up to yours! Everyone of them is outstanding!
ReplyDeleteBTW. If I was going to try to catch a lizard, that is the only size I would be interested in. He is kinda cute!
Beautiful pictures!!! Vacation is always wonderful but there's no place like home!
