I ♥ Faces - Week 22 - My Story in Photos {Madeira Beach}

I ♥ Faces is a photography site focused on the art of capturing faces and their various emotions. Each week, people from across the world have the opportunity to enter their favorite face photos into two categories ~ kids and adults.

This week's theme is to share your vacation through photos...no contest...just for fun...whew! Because I can't compete with those great photos every week...but I sure have fun trying! And the best part is there is no limit to how many photos you can post this week! {let this be your warning!}

We've been so fortunate to take a family vacation to Florida every year for the last few years to Madeira Beach. The same place Dan always went with his family...now we all go and make new memories with our families!

One of our favorite things about this vacation is going to the airport and boarding the big plane!

And we waste no time hitting the beach...

feeding seagulls...

building sandcastles...

and playing Shuffleboard
{or hopscotch...depending on who you ask!}

And, of course, arriving at the pool in style...

for a few pool stunts!

We love the sunsets...

and the storms...

and sometimes both at the same time...

or catching rainbows!

But the best part is being with the whole family...

and heading to the ice-cream stand...

to gorge on enormous banana splits!

But before we head home...there's always time for a quick boat ride...

and gathering a few seashells...

The sun may have set on our vacation last year...

But..stay tuned...Madeira Beach 2009...beginning July 16th!

  16. Can I come with this year? HA! I haven't seen a real beach in years! And the weather here has been less than desirable also so it makes your photos look that much more appealing! We also haven't done a real family vacation with our kids yet. Grant is dying to go on a plane ride! Thanks so much for sharing. What a great way to tell your vacation story:)
