Welcome to Not Me! Monday! This blog carnival was created by MckMama. You can head over to her blog to read what she and so many others have not been doing this week!
Happy Memorial Day!
Let's honor the heroes that serve and have served our country!
The boys did not enjoy tradition, spending a day out with Grandpa at the race track listening to the whir of speeding cars going around while snacking on hot dogs and peanuts and ice-cream...not them!
I most certainly did not polish off a box of Krispy Kream cream-filled chocolate donuts in a matter of 3 days all by myself! Absolutely not me! I have more self control than that! {but, man they were delicious!}
I am not planning on having another leisure, relaxing, lazy day today...we have not declared today that we are locking the doors, turning the phone off and hiding out! Not us!
Seriously, there are places to go and people to see! {Maybe on Tuesday!}
Have a wonderful day! {I do mean that!}
I hope you have a nice and relaxing peaceful day today.
ReplyDeleteOnly 61 pictures? Men. THey don't understand that you can take a bazillion and just delete later if they are bad. LOL
ReplyDeleteHave a nice relaxing day. I love days that we have nothing on the schedule.
Happy Memorial Day!
So you trusted him with your new baby...I mean camera, hey? ha ha ha Great photos though! I'd have done the same. Anything for a great shot even if someone else has to take it. =0)
ReplyDeleteI knew you had the disorder, too! I've already SEEN you suffer from the addiction! Heck, I even called you out on it, didn't I? ha ha ha
ReplyDeleteHopefully some people will click and come meet ya! Have a Happy Memorial Day!

I'm so jealous of Dan & Alex! We watched some of the race from home... Because of my pre-kid job I used to be really into open-wheel racing and I so miss seeing the races live. (And in Dan's defense, it's hard to get good shots at a race...they're too fast!)
ReplyDeleteThough Emily and your day sounded awfully nice too!
And and in response to your question, we didn't stuff the buoy in the car. We tied it to the luggage rack and hauled it bouncing off the back of the Explorer. I bet that could've gotten us a ticket too if we'd been caught on a main road with it like that. But all we did was head over to the very next feeder road with it tied like that. Didn't pass any cops! Whew!
ReplyDeleteAwwww...they must have had so much fun at the race!
ReplyDeleteI hope you get to have another relaxing day today! I'm trying to do the same! :)
This was good! How cool that they went to the race. Seems like a lot of fun. But also how cool that you relaxed by the pool and napped. Hmmm...which would I choose. We are relaxing today too, and enjoying some good food. Happy Monday!
ReplyDeleteI love Not Me Mondays :-) haha
ReplyDeleteand the girls' day relaxing sounds just heavenly!
My dad used tp take us to the races when we were little. It was fun!
ReplyDeleteHave an awesome weekend. Don't forget to unplug the computer too, lol!
It looks like they had a great time at the race!! I am jealous of the donuts...we also picked some up yesterday but Jason passed it and didn't want to turn around in the traffic:(
ReplyDeleteOh, I love those 'just the girls' days! glad you were able to enjoy some leasure time :) Thanks for stopping by and for your kind words. You have a beautiful family and you do an awesome job of capturing moments through photography!
ReplyDeleteBest,
Jess
Ummm, you definitely have more self-control than me--I would have polished off those Krispy Kremes in less than 3 days!!! : )
ReplyDeleteNot Me Mondays are so hilarious!
It's good to be back--I've gotta catch up on what's been happening in everyone's lives! I can't believe how much I missed my blogging friends. And I definitely went through some major internet withdrawals. ^_^
Indy 500! Oh, that makes me feel a little homesick. How fun that they got to go.
ReplyDeleteI would have given you a run for your money on that box of Krispy Kremes. Yes, ma'am. :)
