Welcome Baby Robins!

Today Emily and I ventured out to the playset to check on our yearly visitors to the Manor. We are happy to announce some new members of the Robin family: Martin, Pink Bird & Tangerine. {can you guess who picked what name?! Alex named a bird after his last name, Emily named one after her favorite color, and I named one after the color of their bellies...I don't know, I was trying to be clever!}

Now we have to be extra cautious when we get to the top of the playset! Every year, I plant flowers in the planters on the playset, and the baby birds get big so fast, and they start cheeping at us, and the mommy Robin swoops by! Last year, one of the babies jumped out of the nest when I was watering the flowers and scared me out of my skin! Luckily, it was ready to fly and was fine!
