Happy Easter!

Yesterday we celebrated Easter with our traditional annual family dinner at MCL with the whole crew! It's always fun when we all get together, and something we look forward to every year! Although, we are so blessed to be able to get together often...and usually for no reason at all!

It has been the most anticipated day this month! Alex was up all night! The Easter Bunny had to work very diligently and quickly so that Alex would not get a peek at him, like he said he would do! But at 1am...Alex discovered that the Easter Bunny had already come and he found his basket filled with goodies! It was a long night of sighing & tossing and turning before Alex would go back to sleep! He kept saying, "I'm bored...I'm starving..." I had to keep reminding him it was the middle of the night! I finally got up with him and had breakfast at 5am, and then went back to his room where he finally fell asleep, but only until about 6:30!

I wish I had more pictures, but they were running and dashing around the house looking for eggs that I could not keep up with them! Then once we were all dressed, we had to hurry so we were not late for church!

We had a small breakfast and egg hunt after church, and then came home to try and get a few pictures, but they were not interested in a photo session today! They were extremely excited to fly their new kites from the Easter Bunny! It's a beautiful day and the sun is shining...but I'm sensing a nap in the near future today! I hope you all have a wonderful Easter and celebrate the day with your family!

Christ is risen!
Happy Easter!

  1. Happy Easter. The pictures are beautiful. I haven't looked through mine yet but Marissa was not in a good mood today before or after church so she was having none of the picture taking process. But I begged, pleaded, and finally, yes, I bribed and I think I may have gotten one or two good ones. I will post them on our family blog later.

Glad you had a great family get to together. I have always wished and still do that we had a big family and that Jose's family lived closer, he has two sister's ane one nephew.

Anyways, I'm rambling as usual :)
I'm going to eat some ham ;)
