I'm also excited about all the green outside with Spring here and the warmer weather! I don't have any flowers, yet, but I love being surrounded by all the green grass and new green buds on the trees outside our living room window!
And, the last green thought of the day, is actually thinking green. With the environment, I mean. I haven't been one to really take any actions on being green, but, once again, thanks to my kids, I've starting being a little more conscience about it. Alex always tells me I need to buy the energy-saving light bulbs, the spiral-y ones, and he's always telling me to recycle our aluminum cans. I love that they have so much to teach me,too! It was also his idea to recycle newspapers because he asked me what the big green 'dumpster' was by the McDonald's one day. When I told him it was to recycle newspapers so they can make new things from our old papers, he said "We should do that too." He's right. When you say it out loud, why wouldn't you want to do that? So we've been doing that for a while. And he loves to help me throw all the papers in the chute! I'm not doing all I can to be green, but it's a start. Thanks, Alex!
We buy the energy saving lightbulbs and do the recycling. But we don't go as Green as we should.
