Welcome to Not Me! Monday! This blog carnival was created by MckMama. You can head over to her blog to read what she and so many others have not been doing this week!
Well as I have not mentioned once or twice already this week, Emily did not learn how to ride her bike training wheel-less! And we did not ride our bikes all weekend around the block and back. And since we did not do that, my rear is not sore from my bicycle seat, and my legs are not sore from peddling so much! Really, I'm in much better shape than that, that a few laps around the block would hurt so much!
We did not enjoy our week home for Spring Break, and sleep in every morning, eat breakfast at 10:30, or stay in our pajamas for a whole day! We certainly wouldn't think of being so lazy and relaxed for a whole week! {but sure was nice!} We did not have such a fabulous week and then have it end with some constant bickering between the kiddos. They each do not always have to get the last word or be the first to do something! No, not them! {all good things must come to an end sometimes, I guess!}
We are definitely not ready for summer and have not been cleaning up our deck, or getting the lounge chairs set up in preparation for the sunny, warm weather! And we absolutely did not open up the pool cover to dip our toes in for just a little bit and get excited about jumping in!
I honestly did not ask Alex to clean up the living room after playing Wii and to please put the controllers away so they don't get lost or broken. Of course he knew that I meant to put them away in the cabinet and back in their proper chargers, and he would do just that and not this! {at least they were off the floor!}
The kids are having absolutely no trouble going to bed tonight, and are super-excited about getting up really early and going back to school first thing in the morning! We are thrilled that Spring Break is over! {seriously, that is so not true!}
Cracking up about the your bum and the bike seat. Those things are so uncomfortable. I hate to put my big butt on them.
ReplyDeleteThe wii tower of remotes is great too. Very creative guy you have there.
What fun to have a pool...the water already looks so blue. I know we will see plenty swimming pictures. Yea!
Oh, I wish we had our toes in a pool! This seems like the longest winter ever!! I love your blog! Your family is gorgeous! Hope to get to know you better!
ReplyDeleteHow fun to have a pool! Loved the wii tower. My 15 year old made a tower of empty pop cans in the kitchen. He was supposed to do recycling but got a little creative, lol!
ReplyDeleteLove the pics of the kids with their toes in the pool. Hopefully the warm weather will arrive soon. And the tower Alex built, too cute. He is such a funny little guy. Hope you are all well and back in the routine. See you on Wednesday.
ReplyDeleteAt least he's creative! I too can't wait for summer to get here. My pool still looks frozen so I won't be dipping my toes any time soon!! :o)
ReplyDeleteCute blog... I enjoy reading it! I have given you an award! Go to my blog to check it out.
ReplyDeleteAmen. Can you imagine how we'd feel if the Lord got tired of dealing with us and gave up on us?
ReplyDeleteOkay...totally jealous of your weather!!! You have seen pics of my outdoors right?
ReplyDeleteLove the controllers..typical boy right?
Also, my main motivation for exercising are my children...I need to keep up with them.
Cute list! I'm so jealous of your lazy spring break. My boys would never let me get away with even one relaxing day!
ReplyDeleteLove the controllers...my oldest would totally do something like that too.
