This past weekend, the circus came to our town...so I took Elizabeth and Abby to see the animals and watch the elephant help raise the big top the morning of the show!
Elizabeth was pretty excited to take a pony ride too!
I've only ever been to the circus once before with Alex and Emily to the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus at the big basketball arena downtown...so this seemed more 'authentic' to me...under the Big Top, one ring, small family, new city a day, traveling circus!
There were tigers...
...cute dogs and funny llamas performing fun tricks...
Elizabeth and Abby were captivated...
...so was Alex...
...trapeze artists...
...really fast and talented camels...
...and one of my favorites, elephants...
...and Alex's favorite, the human volcano...

It was a really fun show and we enjoyed a fun, family night to the circus! We hope they come back next year!
