But...the summer has just seemed a bit off this year with having a baby and postponing our summer vacation a bit...and now we've already moved into fall...and I feel like I just haven't quite gotten into the groove of it yet!
With that...I'm still trying to catch up on all that has happened between summer vacation and now!
Like the {First Day of School}-
Even though there's a bittersweet feeling that summer is ending...you can always feel the excitement in the air
during the mad rush to gather school supplies...
...and on Back to School night...

Elizabeth was excited...not so excited at first...for her first day of preschool too!

School has been in full swing for well over a couple of months already...and with that...we've created a new office/work space for the family in order to keep paper, homework and crafts all in one functional space!

But, before the first day of school arrived, we celebrated the end of summer with one last hurrah with a trip to Cincy to IKEA and Great Wolf Lodge!
We had a good view of the outside pool to the left...and a small view of a roller coaster to the right at King's Island!

We had a great time at Great Wolf Lodge...despite what this picture says! ha!

Emily lost a tooth just a couple days later too! It was a busy week for the Tooth Fairy!
We also enjoyed a fun mermaids and pirates birthday party for Elizabeth's friends Gabbie and Easton, swimming and jumping!
...meeting friends in town for lunch and ice cream!
...and visiting new precious family members for a fun day!

Summer seems like a blur...but I'm so glad we have lots of fun memories with family and friends!
...now back to trying to catch up on real life...being back from the west coast just a few short days and celebrating a family wedding...I'm having just a little trouble adjusting to real life-three hour time change-back to laundry,grocery shopping, dinner making, sleep deprived home base! ...zzzzzzzzz...
