Baptism and Ice Cream

Sunday was such a special day for these two ladies...

Emily and Elizabeth dressed in their matching dresses and 'shoes' {love Elizabeth's tights!} for their baptism!

Emily was so excited!  She kept asking when she could go up front!

Elizabeth did a great job too...but then decided she was hungry and tired...so we pretty much missed the sermon and communion...but what a wonderful celebration for these two to share together!

Love these girls!
And we're so fortunate to have found a loving church family to raise them up in and to help them grow in Christ!

Thank you Grandma and Grandpa for sharing this special celebration with us!

Thank you Lord for all our blessings and our amazing families!

{When I look at these pictures...I can't believe I get to be the mom of these three!  And that Alex is such a young man...when did that happen?!  ...sigh... Elizabeth is expressing my sentiments exactly...it goes too fast!  ha!  I am a very blessed and proud momma and wife!}

And it's not a celebration without ice cream!
After church we went to the old-fashioned ice-cream parlor Zaharako's for lunch and ice cream...

{Alex's favorite...orange dreamsicle...mmm!}

{Mine and Emily's choice...mint chocolate chip...delish!}

After lunch, it was a great day to nap and relax...I love celebrations!

May we always follow in the Lord's path and lean on our church and family in all times!
