Snowy {Greetings}

We've already had 2 snow days for the year...and of course some people get really excited about that...

...and I'm sure there are going to be even more days to get excited about because there is more snow coming!

I enjoy the snow too...and I'm looking forward to a white Christmas...
but it's a little more eventful trying to gather all of us into the car, drive on the crummy, slushy roads and get Elizabeth to the doctor {she's gained over a pound already...7lbs 14oz!} and then leave Walmart with a cart full of non-necessities when I only needed milk!
But oh what fun to stay home and sled down the snowy steps...

{whoops!  Alex...you forgot your sled!}

Then it was off to the side hill...and that took them really far on their sleds!

{Emily waiting to launch!}

We love snow days...but that only means more days in the summer... {blah!}
but we're not complaining...yet!

And...although I've been able to get pretty much nothing done around the house...
{because I just have my hands full...}
{...with this sweet bundle!}

...but I was actually able to get our Christmas cards out before Christmas {yay!}...

...however, I failed to order enough of them {wah!

So...in an effort to include all of you in our Merry Holiday Greetings...

I love this time of year because it's usually the only time of year I enjoy getting the mail...and looking forward to receiving those fun Christmas cards!  Sorry I wasn't able to send you all our warm wishes by mail this year.

Happy Holidays!
{I can't believe Christmas is only a week away!  What?!}

  1. Looks like a good time at your house! We have the snow but unfortunately the temps are too bitter for the kids to get out much. Our wind chill has been unreal.
    And somehow I don't think you mind that little bundle keeping you busy! :) She is precious! And you can tell Miss Emily that I think Elizabeth looks JUST LIKE HER! :)

  2. It looks like your kids are having a blast!!! I remember those days of sledding as a kid and it was a ton of fun. I'll have to take out kids sledding this year. Enjoy snuggling with that sweet bundle...she looks so much like Emily.
