...and that just means I get to watch this precious face sleep the day away...while I feel like I'm sleep-walking! But I know it will pass...and I'll have plenty of time to sleep when she's older.
Today she had to get a shot for her one-month check up...
{oops...shouldn't have told her where we were going!}
{But she was just fine once she found out we were going to Target afterward to spend some Christmas money!}
And because I'm so tired...I drove all the way to my doctor's office before I realized I was at the wrong place! Oops! My ob won't be able to check her now! So we had to drive to the pediatrician's office on the other side of town!
It wasn't a long wait...but I had a new toy to keep us busy...
Dan gets free stuff from work when he buys lots and lots of supplies throughout the year...so that meant a new iPod touch with a camera for me!
Emily and I had fun taking pictures of ourselves with it in the waiting room!
...I finally feel like I'm part of the 21st century now! Ha! I just have to ask Alex to help me install some music and fun apps!
{Now guess who wants an iPod for her birthday?}
{...sigh...}
I told her she needs to save her money...but she decided she wanted to spend it today!
{thanks Grammy!}
We had a fun visit with my mom, sister and nephew yesterday for our Christmas...
{Alex is such a good helper...he is always wanting to hold Elizabeth and get her when she cries! And Emily has already changed quite a few diapers!}
I can't believe it's almost a new year already. We plan on celebrating at home with movies and the Wii. And Emily is excited to go with Daddy this time to the IU game on New Year's Eve!
And Dan and Alex are working on painting his room this weekend cream & crimson for IU! I can't wait to see how it turns out! I'm staying downstairs out of the mess so the boys can work!
Guess that just leaves me to take down the Christmas tree and decorations...before the next century!
Happy New Year!
Elizabeth looks so peaceful sleeping...but the one of crying is cute too:) I smiled when I saw Emily wearing the shirt I made! I really need to make a matching one for Elizabeth before Emily outgrows hers! We finally got all our Christmas decorations put up today, and we only did it today because we are going to be out of town and it had to be done! I hope you have a great New Years Carrie!
ReplyDeleteI loved holding my sleeping babies and they still want to sleep with me...I'm a sucker. Looks like a great Christmas and I'm jealous of the new toy...I want one. I can't wait to see Alex's room...how fun.
ReplyDeleteI totally miss holding sleeping babies. I do enjoy sleeping through the night, though. :)
ReplyDeleteElizabeth looks just like Emily in that side profile picture...wow. She is so cute sleeping all peaceful. I love that too.
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see the new bedroom...How fun!
