{But not before a delicious slice of cheese pizza, a few scenic pictures...}

{and a silly one!}

At first...I was a little intimidated by the huge, steep hill above us...

...so Emily and I tried out the baby hill first!

But after that...Emily ditched me...and headed for the big hill all by herself! {I'm so glad that she does not have my fears and anxieties!}

{Look at that face...she can't wait to get to the top!}

The best part of tubing is you get an exhilerating ride down the hill...and a nice relaxing ride up...
{going up!}

...with some awesome views to enjoy on the way!

{Going down!}

{Dan & Alex reaching the bottom}

I'm so glad it was such a gorgeous day so I could capture those beautiful snowy-capped mountains!
And because it was such a blast...we decided to go a second time!
{Well...I decided to play photographer this time instead since I was using my little 'pocket' camera the first time. However...the conditions were cold and snowing...making my fingers like ice cubes, my camera vulnerable to the elements, and near white-out conditions! But perfect for tubing!}

{Dan and Emily are excited to go! Woot! Woot!}

{Alex going down Superman style!}

{Super FlyGirl!}

{SuperMan Dan!}

Luckily while the three of them were supertubing...there was a little enclosed hut for us viewers to stay warm and toasty and thaw our fingers and faces!
This almost brings us to the end of our trip...and pictures! But come back tomorrow...we're not done, yet!
{And now that we're home...we're supposed to get some snow here...yay! Now only if we had a few mountains in our backyard!}
That looks like SO much fun. I will say that I got a little scared at the one picture taken at the top of the hill.
ReplyDeleteHow fun! I love how you went back up on the tubes! The pictures are beautiful and I love the kids all bundled up... if they were to fall, they would roll and roll! :)
ReplyDeleteThat looks like so much fun! I have been snow tubing once before...but it was on fake snow, and I'm sure the hill wasn't nearly as big! I love all the cute snow gear on the kiddos!
ReplyDeleteThat town looks absolutely beautiful! The tubing looks like it was so much fun! (im not a very good snowboarder...or ski-er for that matter).
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you had a great time! We are taking our first family vacation in April and I can't wait!
I love the family pic! :) I think I would have been terrified of that hill - I am not very adventurous!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous pics again...are these from you little camera? Awesome. How fun. They look like they are all having the time of their lives.
ReplyDeleteI love all of your pics Carrie. I would rather tube anyday than ski. I'm glad you guys had such a fun trip. Can't wait to see the rest of the trip pictures.
ReplyDeleteSUPER fun! I'm loving your vacay pictures even though they are making me majorly jealous!
ReplyDeleteWishing I could have been there tubing with you guys. Snow tubing is a blast and much more my speed than skiing. You sure got some awesome pictures, Carrie. It sure does sound like you are going to have your hands full with that little dare-devil Emily of yours someday!
