Time to join Pam and share the moments we're going to miss one day...because life is so short! Sometimes it's hard to find those moments among our busy schedules, but that's what I love about participating in this...it makes me stop and think about it and appreciate them so much more!
I'm still going strong with the hustling and bustling...but I'm so thankful that today I could do it all alone! Dan took the day off to work on the basement and I took this opportunity to shop like a crazy lady with only 2 weeks left until Christmas! We have another busy weekend and a busy week to follow...and still lots of dust and laundry piling up! But I was able to take a minute to stop and enjoy one of those little moments that I will always cherish! Emily came up to me and said, "Mommy, I need to use the blanket for something so don't pick it up and put it away." Okay, I thought...as I kept doing whatever it was that I was doing. Then I started to hear a 'clinking' noise and found this......Emily had set up a little tea party with the tiny porcelain tea set my mom got her for her 4th birthday. Such a cute moment!
{Yes...she is still wearing her Halloween shirt! She loves it!}
I will really miss this!

So sweet. My Actress used to love china tea sets. We still have one that one of our dear friends bought her. I already miss those days.
ReplyDeleteOh, I can't wait for these days to begin! I love the imaginations that kids have. This is such a special memory for you, I am sure.

We love tea time. And Rebecca, who is now 10, still has an occasional party with her 4 year old brother!
ReplyDeleteSoooo sweet. That will be a moment that is missed when they get older. Abby loves having tea parties!
ReplyDeleteVery sweet! I miss my girlies being small enough for tea parties. I still have my tea set from when I was that age, too! Such sweet memories.
ReplyDeleteCarrie! That is so sweet. Oh I love the picture of her with the tree in the background. You do some amazing work.
ReplyDeleteSo sweet! I had a tea set that I LOVED when I was little! I don't think my boys would enjoy the tea party quite as much...they like dirt better:)
ReplyDeleteSo fun!!!!! I have a tea set all ready for when Melody is interested. She will kind of play tea party with me for a minute or two but isn't quite there yet.
