{I miss you & hope to catch up with you all soon!} We are truly enjoying our vacation and are soakin' up the fun in the sun!
My weekend started with our 10th wedding Anniversary and a surprise getaway from Dan to the Ritz-Carlton in Naples! He treated us to an overnight stay which included a massage {my very first...} dinner & then breakfast the next morning! It was probably our first time away without the kids in a long time! {Don't worry...his parents are here now...and graciously watched Alex & Emily for us while we were gone!} I was so grateful and despite my anxiety about the massage...it was definitely relaxing and much needed!
The only thing I did not like was crossing the Sunshine Skyway to get there! Yikes...hold on to your seats!
We enjoyed our quiet time and were able to have a nice dinner with no interruptions from the little peeps...but I really missed them!
They are still enjoying the sun and sand...
...with cousins...
...and searching for seashells at sunset with Grandma...

Carrie, what an awesome husband you have. I am so happy that the two of you were able to get away for awhile, just the two of you, especially on your 10th anniversary. What special memories to have. Your pictures are wonderful. That bridge is a little scary isn't it? Glad you made it to your destination safely. Have a great trip & miss you too.

ReplyDeleteI can just tell through your gorgeous pictures that you are having a great time. That sounds like a great anniversary getaway too...dinner with your favorite man, a massage! I think that's the bridge my friend Lyndsey is scared of too.
