Another day at the beach...and Alex couldn't be happier! He is a true beach bum! He loves playing in the sand, diving in the ocean {dodging stingrays...yikes!} searching for shells and building sandcastles. While Emily was taking a nap, Alex and I had a nice afternoon floating in the ocean, digging a hole for the 'sea creatures' and hanging out watching pelicans and sailboats, just the two of us.
That is great that you got to spend some one on one time with him and especially in an awesome setting! So glad you are making such wonderful memories with them.
What a sweet time with just you and your little man! I treasure moments like that and to be at the beach is just an added bonus. Thanks for sharing all of your fun times.
Greatpics...we just don't hang with one child enough do we?
I realized last winter when Sam and I ran into the city for preschool shoes for him that it was the first time in this 3 yr olds life that we did anything along together..sad isn't it.
What fun! My guys love digging in the sand too! I am still SUPER jealous of you vaca....I don't think we are going to make it to the beach again this summer, school starts way sooner than I was thinking!
That water is so, so blue. What a great afternoon for the two of you. You are creating beautiful memories for your family. Can't wait to see you when you get back.
Thank you for visiting Martin Manor! I hope you enjoy the happenings of our home with three young children and all that goes with being a stay-at-home mom and wife to my high-school sweetheart! No one said it would be easy, but it should be fun along the way! Turn up your volume and enjoy the music that inspires me to relax, rejoice, and sometimes get up and dance! I hope you enjoy your stay! Please come again!
That is so great! What's not to love...sun, sand, surf and mother/son bonding time. Great memories were created for sure.
