A Kid at heart

Today we ventured to the city and spent the day at the Children's Museum! It's always alot of fun for me and the kids and some of the exhibits haven't changed even since I was a kid and used to visit here! I think the favorite exhibit was the ScienceWorks room with the water 'contraption' {because I don't know what else to call it} and Alex says everything was his favorite!

{the water 'contraption'}

{and this thing!}

They raced cars... VROOM!

Dug for fossils and pretended to be T-rexs...

We also rode the carousel...{and I'll admit it made me a little dizzy!}

Found our way out of the House of Mirrors...

Made a new friend...

And sat back and enjoyed the 'Chihuly' glass sculpture in the rotating chair...

{this is the sculpture starting from the first floor and reaches all the way to the fourth floor. We are underneath looking up at it through a glass ceiling.}

I truly enjoy being a kid at heart and this is a great place for that!

"Alex, look out!"

  1. OH wow! How fun! Isn't being a mom just the coolest job in the world? Yes, it's hard somedays. But days like these make it all worthwhile!
